Ervin L. George

Keene–Funeral services for Ervin L. George, 94, of Keene, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 29, at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church in Keene. Burial will be in Keene Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, of Cleburne. Ervin L. George, a retired cabinet maker, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2004 in Cleburne. He was born November 3, 1909, in Mertens, Texas, the son of Silas Edward and Jennie George. He married Ola Anderson July 8, 1933, in Italy, Texas. He was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Leonard Wayne George. Mr. George is survived by his wife of seventy-years, Ola A. George, of Keene; two sons, David Lee George, of Bowie, Maryland and Loyd Ray George, of Covina, California; two sisters, Ruby Nysinger, of Lufkin, Texas and Ruby Chandler, of Vidor, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
