Blum–Funeral services for Estie Mae Allen, 90, of Blum, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 29, 2004 at the First Baptist Church, of Blum, with Rev. Sammy Simmons and Rev. Joe Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Blum Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Joe French, Don Rape, Thomas Gant, Dean Jean, Raymond Tubbs and Toney Ray Prather. Visitation will be held at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2004 from 6-8 PM. Estie Mae Allen, a homemaker, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2004, in Cleburne. She was born in Hill County, Texas, November 7, 1913, the daughter of Will and Cora Staford. She married Tommy Willard Allen, September 24, 1938, in Cleburne, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blum. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Allen. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Tom Allen, of Blum; daughters, Betty Prather and husband, Ray, of Rio Vista and Carolyn Kennedy and husband John, of Blum; one sin, James Allen and wife, Anita, of Lampasas; one sister, Blanche Ward, of Covington; two brothers, W. P. Stafford, of Covington and J. C. Stafford, of Kopperl; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
