Cleburne–Evelyn Ellis Kennon, 82, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2004 in Cleburne after a long illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Kennon will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Saint Mark United Methodist Church of Cleburne, with Rev. Cal Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Bono Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, of Cleburne. Evelyn Marguerite Ellis was born July 15, 1921 at Price’s Chapel, Johnson County, Texas to J.C. and Bessie Griffith Ellis. She attended county schools at Parker and Bono.
