Frances Dauphine Reece Songayllo

FORT WORTH — Frances Dauphine Reece Songayllo, 87, passed away Sunday June 7th in Fort Worth. Services will be held Tuesday, June 16th, 1:00pm at the Protestant Chapel at St. Francis Village, Crowley Texas. Presiding will be Rev. Kenneth Parlin.        Dauphine was born and raised in Big Spring, Texas and worked many years in various secretarial positions. A very talented lady, she played the organ and piano for her Church and often performed duets with her sister Donnie.        At a social event held at St. Frances Village she met, danced and fell in love with Alexander Songayllo Jr. and they were happily married for 25 years until Alex passed away in October of 2013.        Surviving family members are son; Benny Kirkland of Granbury Texas, sister; Donnie Watts of Burleson, Texas, granddaughter Kristin Tindell (Alan); grandson Calvin Kirkland (Angela), six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends at St. Francis Village.        Preceeding her in death were, husband Alex; mother, Erma Lee Grice Reece and father, Frances Cleveland Reece.
