Frances Elaine Lewis

Frances ELAINE (Prunty) Lewis, 75, of Alvarado, Texas, passed on August 02, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Elaine was born on January 31, 1947 in Fairfield, Iowa to Robert and Frances Prunty. She married Wally Lewis on August 17, 1963. They moved to Texas from Iowa in 1982 and made Texas their home. Elaine was the Hazel of the household and loving mother. She was once an avid crocheter and enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets. She was preceded in death by son, Darren, Grandma Black, parents, siblings, daughter in law, son in law and a granddaughter. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wally of Alvarado, sons; Mark ( Chris) of Donna, Texas, Jeff ( Marcy) of Weatherford, Texas, Curtis of Alvarado, Texas, Steven ( Kerri) of Cape Corral, Florida, daughters; Tammy ( Steve) Gordy of Ottumwa, Iowa, Susan ( Todd) Fite of Agency, Iowa, Robin Freeman, Alvarado, Texas, nephew they raised, Brett Brinkmeier of Fairfield, Iowa. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous others that loved her dearly. There will be a celebration of life for Elaine on August 20, 2022 at their home in Alvarado
