Frances Marcia Lewis

Marcie passed away peacefully in her home in Cleburne, TX on July 8, 2024. She was born May 19, 1945, to Ralph and Frances Mitchell. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dwain Lewis. She is also survived by her 3 children, Justin, Lynne, and Dustin, as well as 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Marcie was a woman of faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her primary wish for her children and grandchildren was for them to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Marcie worked in the banking industry for many years, as well as retail management. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to crochet, sew, and quilt – a skill she picked up from her mother-in-law, Virgie Lewis. She also loved gardening and flowers. Her home was always the one with the best yard and flowerbeds as noticed by all the envious neighbors. During the last 5 years of her life, she and Dwain lived with their son Dustin and his 5 kids, and their time together was blessed. Memorial services will be Friday July 12 at 4pm at Texas House of Prayer International in Alvarado, TX – 4000 County Rd 401B, Alvarado, TX 76009.
