Frances Maurine Key

BURLESON — Frances Maurine Key, 86, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008.        Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Interment: Cope Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.        Frances was born the ninth of 11 children of Ada Abagail Cope Garner and Wilburn Columbus Garner near Lillian. She graduated from Mansfield High School at the top of her class. Frances married Edwin Eugene Key on Oct. 5, 1940.        She will be greatly missed.        She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, "Gene" Key, and sons, Jimmy and Dennis.        Survivors: Her children, Alvon, Sheila, and Rochelle; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
