Gail Sasser

Gail Sasser, 63, passed away peacefully and was greeted by her Savior and many loved ones at Heaven’s gate on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Fort Worth, TX.

Gail is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, George Sasser (2004), and her parents, Ted (2019) and Glenda (1999) Grier. Gail is survived by her children, Stephen and wife Amanda, Ben and wife Candi, Leslie Lewis and husband Casey; grandchildren, Clayton, Ayden, Kevin, Jake, Eli, Presley, Lincoln, and Andrew; grand dogs, Lyla, Max, Cooper, Boston, and Molly; and siblings, Paul Grier and wife, Cheryl, and sister, Kimberly Kent, along with three nephews and two nieces.

Gail had a passion for teaching young children where she worked at Temple Days Daycare for 22 years and volunteered in the children’s ministry at Grace Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX, where she was a member for 52 years.

Gail enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play and perform their individual passions of baseball, soccer, football, track & field, choir, and band. She was a fan of the Texas Rangers and TCU Horned Frogs, and had a love for gardening, music, arts & crafts, and bright vivid colors. She would tell her students her favorite color is the rainbow.

The family requests, to honor Gail’s memory, to please wear your favorite color to the memorial service.
