Gary McGee, 69, passed away Thursday May 15, 2014 at home. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Cleburne; Graveside Service 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth; Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson; Gary graduated from Poly High School in 1963 where he was a member of the Marching 100 Band; He married his high school sweetheart Linda in 1965. Upon retiring from Bell Helicopter after 33 years he enjoyed many hobbies, but his greatest loves were his wife and family, especially his grandchildren. Gary was a Christ-follower and deacon at First Baptist Cleburne. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall McGee. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Nolan McGee; mother, Margery McGee; sons, Jeff McGee and wife, Jodi Lynn, and Jason McGee and wife, Beth; five grandchildren and three sisters. Gary was born February 28, 1945, in Fort Worth, to Marshall and Margery McGee. He graduated from Poly High School, Class of 1963. On Aug. 13, 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Linda. Gary retired from Bell Helicopter after 33 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Kenneth Wayne. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Nolan McGee; mother, Margery McGee; sisters Mary Margaret Klein of Austin, Janet Casstevens of Houston, and Joyce Harbour of Southlake; sons, Jeff McGee and wife, Jodi Lynn, of Burleson, and Jason McGee and wife, Beth, also of Burleson; and five grandchildren, Jennifer, Julianne, Andrew, Katherine and Meredith.
