George Marshall Warner, Jr.
George Marshall Warner, Jr., age 68, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 20, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to George Marshall Warner, Sr. and Peggy R. Lawrence, both of whom preceded him in death.
George spent his early years in Little Rock before moving to Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended Carter Riverside High School, graduating in 1975. He later earned his degree from Texas Wesleyan University in 1979, where he served as Senior Class President, demonstrating the leadership qualities and warm personality that would characterize his life.
Throughout his professional career, George worked in the banking and financial services industries, earning numerous awards and distinctions, including the Hulsey Award, before joining Ideal Impact in 2018, where he served in sales and investor relations. His colleagues appreciated his integrity, professionalism, and genuine concern for others.
On June 16, 2001, George married the love of his life, Victoria Gallenberg-Warner, in Carroll County, Arkansas. Together they shared twenty-five years of marriage filled with love, faith, adventure, and unwavering devotion to family.
Faith was the cornerstone of George's life. After moving in with his foster family, the Caraways, he became involved with Riverside Christian Church in Fort Worth. George's love for the Lord was evident to everyone who knew him. He rarely missed his daily devotionals and was always willing to encourage others through his faith, wisdom, and friendship. He was proud to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, a distinction that reflected the values of service, leadership, and character that guided him throughout his life.
George found joy in life's simple blessings. He enjoyed travel, beekeeping, spending time with family and friends, and beginning each day with prayer and reflection. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply listening, he had a remarkable ability to make people feel valued and loved.
Those who knew George will remember his steadfast faith, his generous heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for family and friends. He faced life's challenges with courage and grace and remained hopeful even during the most difficult moments of his illness. His faith sustained him until the end and provided comfort to those who walked beside him on his journey.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Victoria Gallenberg-Warner; their four legged children, (Trooper, Maddie, Scout and Ranger) his son, Jody Warner and daughter Rebekah Warner-Garza and her husband, Phil, (Peyton, Parker and Skylar); his stepdaughter, Allison Thierfelder and her husband, Ryan; (grand pups Milo, Remy and Willow) ; his brother, Dentist “Rob” Roberts and his wife, Sherri; his foster sister, Valerie Caraway; and numerous extended family members, cherished friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and friendship.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his first wife, Jo Desiree Warner; his foster parents, John Wesley and Lois Lee Caraway; and his beloved foster brother, Randy Caraway, (Melissa) who passed away earlier this year.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2026, at Fellowship of the Parks Church, Grapevine Campus, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate George's life, faith, and legacy.
