Georgianna Marie Stetson

Georgianna “Georgi” or “Honey” Stetson, 61 of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away February 19, 2025, due to smoke inhalation from a house fire. Born July 10, 1963, in Ithaca, NY, she was the daughter of the late George Stetson and Rosella Shevalier Stetson Sears. Georgi is survived by sister Melinda (Alan) Wood of Willseyville, NY, brother Bryant Stetson of McGraw, NY, sister Charlene Winkler of PA, brother George Stetson Jr of Ovid, NY, sister Lisa Stetson of MO, brother Joel Brockway of Jacksonville, NY, special friend Christie Tyler and her son Dustin “big brother” of Mineral Wells, TX, special friend Jenny Armstrong of Lansing, NY, and her daughter Brenda Schaap who was like a daughter to Georgi, 4 niece’s and their families, one aunt, and several cousins. Georgianna was predeceased by parents George Stetson and Rosella Sears, brother Michael Stetson, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Life to Georgi was not about stuff or money; it was about the love she held in her heart for family and friends. Georgi lived simply, but she loved sincerely. She knew every aunt, uncle, cousin, as well as close family friends, and she took a genuine interest in their lives. We all loved Georgi, and she will be greatly missed. Georgi also loved “Bandit” and Spring”, her 2 dogs her lost their lives with her in the house fire.
