Gerald Lee Verwolf, born September 3,1949 in Downey California to Peter and Betty Verwolf passed away at his home in Alvarado Texas on Nov 24, 2019. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1971. He earned his Masters Degree and became a professor at MSC while operating the Tex West Boxing club in Salinas CA. He worked for the state of California for over 33 years in the communications field and was also an active member of the National Emergency Number Association. He volunteered for the Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula for many years and enjoyed Astronomy, music and riding the open road on his Harley. He was a friend like no other. He is survived by his wife Deborah Verwolf, son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Noelia Verwolf, son Gerald Verwolf , 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and sisters Joan Dull and Judy DePalma. He was proceeded in death by his parents Peter and Betty Verwolf and son Clint Larry Verwolf. Private celebration of life after cremation in Mansfield Texas.
