Gladys Inez Manning

Cleburne–Graveside services for Gladys Inez Manning, 90, of Cleburne will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, Cleburne. Gladys Inez Manning, a homemaker, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2004 in Cleburne. She was born October 14, 1913, in Covington, Texas, the daughter of Joseph Edward and Mausie Eddith (Barron) Benton. She married Joseph W. Manning, August 10, 1930, in Cleburne. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Janus A. Manning, in 1995 and Joseph W. Manning Jr. in 1947 and three sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Manning is survived by one son, Barry Dalton Manning and wife, Geneva, of Cleburne; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
