Gloria Yvonne Mayberry

Gloria Yvonne (Jefferson) Mayberry passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Delores Phifer on May 19, 1949. She attended schools in Dallas, Texas. Gloria was a kind and gentle soul. She was passionate about her family and friends. She was full of joy and fun to be around, and she loved God with all of her heart. When she greeted you, it was always, "Hey there," with a smile or laugh that followed.
Preceded in death are her grandmother, Elizabeth Faye Jefferson; mother, Delores Phifer ; brother, Thomas Phifer Jr.; uncle, Bobby Jefferson; and aunt Robbie Jefferson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Tabitha Mayberry of Dallas, Texas; Derrick Mayberry (LaTina) of West Palm Beach, Florida; LeSheka Mayberry of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, Tia Evans of Dallas, Texas, Shaviance Mayberry of Midland, Texas, Devontay Coleman of Midland, Texas, Demetrius Mayberry of Killeen, Texas, Desirae Mayberry of Killeen, Texas, Derrick Mayberry Jr. of West Palm Beach, Florida, De’Andra Mayberry of Killeen, Texas, Bennie Jones Jr (BJ) of Fort Worth, Texas, Bennjamin Jones of Fort Worth, Texas; her great grandchildren, Zha’kylin of Midland, Texas, Jeremiah of Killeen, Texas, Bronson of Midland, Texas, Draice of Midland, Texas, and Luca of Midland, Texas ; sister, Eva Janette Phifer of Dallas, Texas; her aunts, Norene (Nina Girl) Jefferson and Marilyn (Sue Cakey) Sue Jefferson of Dallas, Texas; her uncle, Walter Earl Jefferson of Dallas, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
