Gordon Ellis Levering

Gordon Ellis Levering, of DeSoto, TX, went to heaven due to Covid-related heart issues on June 20, 2021. He was born on October 5, 1940 in Louisa, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Cora Neeley Levering; his brother Murland Lee and sisters, Geraldine, Betty Jean and two that died at birth; Gordon is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Janie) Birch Levering; sister-in-law, Nellie Levering and Nephews and nieces, Wanda Savage, Mike Levering, Danny Levering, Cora Levering, Mandy Deskins, Mike McFann, Ed McFann, Eva Newsome, late Ruby Cantrell, Linda Wright, Dave Burchett, Glen Burchett, Doris Cook, Mike Burchett, Carol Whitaker, late Timmy Burchett, Kim Childers He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army. A memorial service will be held in Louisa, KY
