In Loving Memory of Grace Marie Pasternak Tatarsky

We announce the passing of our beloved mother, Grace, who passed into eternal life on July 11, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on Jan 27, 1933.

Grace was the heart of our family. Her love was unconditional, her strength unwavering, and her kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her faith, compassion, and quiet resilience were an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her Son, Louis Bruce Tatarsky, 68, and his wife, Susan Perry of Stoneham, Massachusetts. Her Daughter, Lisa Marie Tatarsky Kouzoukas, 65, and her husband, Kyriakos Kouzoukas of Dallas, Texas. Her Son, Marc Laurence Tatarsky, 58, and his partner, Christina Lagoda, of Dallas, Texas. She leaves 2 grandsons, Greg Giannone of Clinton, Massachusetts, and Hagen Tatarsky of Kansas City, Missouri.

She will be joining her devoted husband of 54 years, Kenneth Norman Tatarsky, and her Loving Son, Angelo Gregory Tatarsky, who preceded her in eternal life.

Grace was passionate about her Catholic faith and served her church in faith, song, and ministry in Chicago and at St. Francis of Assisi in Frisco, Texas, where she resided.

Grace enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, skiing, and her biggest passion, tennis. She continued playing tennis well into her 80's and loved to watch her children and grandchildren play tennis as well. She had a soft heart for all animals and contributed monthly to the ASPCA.

Mom, thank you for every sacrifice, every hug, every lesson, and every prayer. We will miss you every day, but we will carry your love in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, we love you, Mom.
