He graduated from LSU with a degree in agriculture. Harry then joined the Army and was a M.P. during the occupation of Germany after WWII. He traveled for John Deere and married the love of his life, Jean Smith in 1957. After the death of their second child, he surrendered to the ministry and made his life work teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He served as pastor in New Orleans, Parkdale, Poyner, Camden, Tyler, Bullard and Texarkana. Harry was forced into retiremen for health purposes but never forgot his calling to ministering to others. Our hearts are broken here but know he has received the Crown of Life and has been welcomed as a “good and faithful servant”.
