Hayden Simpkins

Hayden Martin Simpkins was born to Don and Maxine Simpkins in Garland, Texas on August 21, 1982. He attended Naaman Forest High School and graduated from El Centro College with a degree in computer science. His spirit for adventure led him to biking, traveling, and cherished mission trips in her young adult life. An enthusiastic learner, he challenged himself in the pursuit of knowledge and evolving technology. He would have delighted in a ChatGPT obituary. With his outside perspective, Hayden preached authenticity and inclusion. His autistic diagnosis in his twenties helped him understand and understand the obstacles that were ahead., and he relentlessly advocated for those with invisible disabilities. This gentle giant was devoted and steadfast-always on time and usually cheerful despite the persistent obstacles in her life. He loved laughing, pointing out life’s ironies, and relishing small pleasures like cats playing and lunch with friends. Hayden’s mission was to share the Gospel with others. He daily yearned to be in the presence of Jesus Christ. Hayden chose a life of hope and grace. He may have given you a piece of her mind, but forgiveness and reconciliation always prevailed. He will be profoundly missed, but He is at peace with her loving Savior. Hayden loved his family. He is survived by her parents Don and Maxine Simpkins, his brother and his wife Jason and Michelle Simpkins, and her niece Jordan. Adam is survived by so many family members, nieces, cousins, and nephews. Adam will be missed dearly. Adam struggled deeply with his Autism. He so wanted to be accepted in society. In 2017 Adam changed his name to Hayden. Adam so wanted to be a woman as to not be picked on. Sadly, he admitted he could no longer live in this world and took his own life.
