Hector Ordonez passed on September 26, 2026 after many years of juggling heart and kidney failure. Born in Matamoros, Hector has called Fort Worth home for over 50 years and was blessed with cherished lifelong friends. Prior to his health decline, you might have seen him in his bucket truck for Southwestern Bell as a cable splicer.

He had a passion for classic rock and a love for American muscle cars. He often regaled loved ones with tales of adventures in the CIA, and he never met a stranger- especially when he was at his favorite place to be, the Cozumeleño resort.

He is preceeded by his father Isaías Ordonez and sister Sara Bickel. He is survived by his two daughters and three grandchildren.

Memorial service to be held Saturday, October 24th, 11 am at Hope Works Church: 1701 Hemphill street, Fort Worth, TX 76110. Reception to follow.
