Cleburne–Memorial services for Herman P. Polson, 85, of Cleburne, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 23, 2004, at Calvary Baptist Church, 700 Woodard Ave, Cleburne, with Rev. Charles Payne officiating. Herman P. Polson, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at his residence. He was born February 24, 1919, in Robstown, Texas, the son of Grover Cleveland and Nettie (Clark) Polson. He was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad, where he was known as “Slick” by his friends. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Rowland Polson, of Cleburne.
