Crowley, Texas–Ida Ruth Canada Blakely passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017 Visitation: Friday August 11, 2017 from 6pm to 8 pm at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, 12301 South Freeway, Burleson 76028 Service:  Saturday August 12, 2017 at 11am at Crowley Methodist Church Ida Blakely was born to Wilma Brown and Ray Elmo Canada on February 9th in 1940. She worked as a postal clerk for USPS for 18 years. She was a very talented artist and her biggest passion in life was her family. Preceded by her parents; 4 brothers; and two daughters, Carrie Herring and Christina Blakely. Survivors are husband, Frank Blakely; sons, Charles Herring and Frank III; daughter, Catherine Bolton; grandsons, Ryan Cox, Damon and Kale Blakely; step-grandsons, Leland Bolton and Matthew Underwood.
