Funeral services for J.D. “Red” McNatt, 83, of Fort Worth will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel, of Cleburne, with Brother Randy Burch officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne. J.D. “Red” McNatt, a retired construction supervisor, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2004 at his residence in Fort Worth. He was born in Hill County, Texas, October 28, 1921, the son of John C. and Willie R.Taylor McNatt. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II, was a Charter member of the Cowtown Posse, longtime member of the local Carpenters Union and enjoyed cattle ranching, rodeos and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Willie McNatt, sister, Jewell M. Chance and dear friend, Vivian Moore. Mr. McNatt is survived by sisters, Louise Bush and Joice Bush, Fort Worth; step-daughter, Shirley Layson,
