J P Copeland, 84 passed away in his home on Wednesday May 31, 2017. Service: 11:00 am Saturday June 3, 2017 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday June 2, 2017 at Mayfield Kiser. Interment: Laurel Land Cemetery. He will be remembered for his love of god, family, and motorcycle riding. The family would like to thank Community Hospice of Texas and staff for the care they provided. The family would also like to extend a special thank-you to Gayle Stevens and Fernando Pereira for their tireless efforts, compassion and commitment to our father on a daily basis. SURVIVORS: JP will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Thompson Copeland, his children Keith Copeland and wife Barbara, his daughter Sharon Copeland and Jason McDaniel, and grandchildren, Erin, husband DJ Thatcher, Josh and Megan Copeland.
