FORT WORTH — Jack Stuart Mitchell, 75, died peacefully on Wednesday September 14. 2011. Celebration of Life: 2:00 P.M. Friday at St. Francis Village, 281 St. Clare Rd. Crowley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Hospice 1067 Foch St.Fort Worth Texas 76107. Jack was born on October 18, 1935 in Fort Worth, the first child of Theron Eugene (Jack) and Emma Lucile Mitchell. Raised in Fort Worth, he graduated from Trimble Technical High School, where his experiences with Civil Air Patrol guided him into a lifetime love of aircraft and a career in aviation maintenance. His life was filled with family, church, singing and wonderful hours of gardening, including obtaining his Master Gardening certification. Jack either had a song or a joke, or often both, for most any occasion. He was a beloved spouse, father, brother, uncle, grandfather,  great grandfather and friend to many who will dearly miss his easy smile, quick song, quirky humor and warm hug. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Susan Mitchell. Survivors: wife, Bobbie; sons, Stuart Mitchell of Lewisville and Joe Canterberry of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter, C.C. Ryder of Ft. Worth; sister, Nancy Cartwright of North Richland Hills; niece Kelly Thompson of North Richland Hills; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren;
