CLEBURNE — James C. Hargett went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sept. 24, 2016. Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Sep. 29, 2016 at Bethesda Baptist Church in Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sep. 28, 2016 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Interment: 1:15 p.m.  Thursday, Sep. 29, 2016 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. James was born August 6, 1925 in Seminole, OK to Jasper & Amanda Brookshire Hargett. He grew up in Oklahoma and served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. James was preceded in passing by his parents and, sister, Wilma Bradbury, and his daughter, Jamie Huddleston. Survivors: James is survived by wife, Doratha Wiggins Hargett, daughters Cheryl & husband Jamie Jameson, Marla & husband David Pressly, Lori & husband Todd Martin, and son-in-law Mike Huddleston. He has 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, stepchildren, step-grandchildren and great step-children.
