James Edwin Morris

Fort Worth, Texas – James (Jimmy) Edwin Morris passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025. Jimmy was born on August 5, 1960, in Bakersfield, California.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Nita Darlene Morris, his daughter Misty, and his son Christopher.

He is survived by his daughter Malerie Byrd, husband Joe, his grandson Cameron Johnson, and his granddaughter Madison Scogin; his son Joshua Morris, wife Krysta, his grandsons Jadyn and Jaxon Morris; his daughter Caitlin, husband Jonathan Jimenez, his grandson LJ, and his granddaughter Victoria; his sister Kimberly Rios, husband Valentin, his nephews Michael, Stephen, Phillip, Jonathon, and his niece Brittany; his cousins Scott Eddings, wife Toni, and Richard Eddings; numerous great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Jimmy cherished his passions for fishing, storytelling, and spending quality time with his sons and nephews.
