James Phillip Bitner

James Phillip Bitner, 45, passed into the waiting arms of his loving Savior on May 1, 2024 in Burleson, TX. He was born on February 10, 1979 in Arlington, TX. Phillip is survived by his only daughter, Piper Amelia, his mother Amy and step-father Rick Miller, sister Carolyn and husband Billy Myers, nieces Kathyrnne and husband Ricky Watson, Madelyn Hall, and Noelle Myers, nephew Jonathan Myers, and step-brothers, Patrick Miller-Pochuski and Kathryn and nephew Tate, and Travis Miller. Phillip worked for many years at Pepsi Bottling Company. He always wanted to go back to school and finally did and graduated from Texas Christian University in 2018 and began teaching in 2020. He loved teaching and his students. His favorite hobby was playing disk golf and he played as often as he could. His favorite thing to do in the whole world was spending time with his daughter, Piper. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and students. A memorial service will be held for all who wish to attend on Sunday, May 19 at 4:00 pm at Grace Community Church in the worship center. Grace Community Church is located at 801 W. Bardin Road in Arlington, TX.
