Jamie Schelling

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of Jamie Schelling (Maxwell), a beloved mother, wife, daughter and friend, who passed away on Aug 19th, 2024 at the age of 47. Jamie left this world after a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to her family, and friends. Born on Oct 12, 1976 in Marshalltown Iowa, Jamie was known for her love of her children, family, and animals. Nobody loved her babies more than Jamie did. Jamie also loved her career in occupational therapy.  She was known for her unwavering commitment to helping others. She spent her career improving the lives of her patients, providing them with the tools and support they needed to regain their independence and well-being. Her kindness, empathy, and expert care touched the lives of countless individuals and their families. Her legacy of service and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew her. Jamie Schelling leaves behind a large and loving family. She is survived by her husband, Jim Schelling, her five children; Son Dallas/Baylee 23, Daughter Dacie 17, Son Dominik 12, Son Daxwell 8, Daughter Dani 5, stepson Dustin 31, Mother/Stepfather Donna/Scott Goodwin, Father Mike Maxwell, Brother Jason/Mistry Maxwell, Father-in-law James/Pam Schelling, Sister-in-law Jeni/Derek Ladehoff, Granddaughter Carlee, and many Aunts Uncles Nephews and Nieces. She was preceded in death by Grandparents Vern/Cecile Maxwell , Don/Martha Crow, Mother-in-law Jane/Larry Menter.”
