Jean Marie Tandy

Burleson: Jean Marie Tandy, a  passed away on  Thursday June 9, 2011 with her loving husband by her side. Memorial Service: 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in her name. Jean was born on October 31, 1930 in Treadwell, New York to Elmer and Margaret Anderson. She has made Texas her home since 1966. Jean was a successful real estate broker for many years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always lent a helping hand wherever it was needed. Jean was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.  She is preceded in death by her son, James Olmstead and her sister, Margaret Clara Olson. Survivors: husband of 37 years,  Byron Tandy; son, John A. Olmstead Jr.; step son, Teddy Tandy; sisters Patricia Robertson of Norwich, New York,  Elizabeth Link of Baldwinsville, New York, Joyce Kollgaard of Ballston Spa, New York and Ginger Baker of Ocoee, Florida; brother James Anderson, of Queen Creek, Arizona and  6 grandchildren
