FORT WORTH — Jeffrey Currie Bean, 55, joined his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Service: The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Jeff’s life at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2016, at Open Door Church, 301 S. Dobson Street, Burleson. Interment: Everman Cemetery, following the service. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Open Door Church or to SPARK (www.sparkworldwide.org). Jeff was born March 23, 1961, in Fort Worth. He attended Everman schools and graduated in 1979. During his life his primary interests were farming and cattle ranching. However, he worked for Mobil Oil on a seismographic ship in the North Sea for a couple of years and in California with his friend, Leigh Bracken, in construction. Jeff was a proud seventh generation Texan. He loved everything Texan – cattle, horses, boots, saddles, and John Deere tractors. Jeff loved the people around him and he was deeply loved by so many friends and family. He and his wife, Lisa, have been blessed by the involvement with their church, Open Door Church. Survivors: His loving wife, Lisa; sons Daniel Benton and wife, Julie; Travis Barker, Chris Loftis; grandsons, Bryce Benton and Jackson Barker; brother, Greg and sister, Marcia and husband Randy; parents, Joe C. and Pat Bean; and many other relatives and friends.
