Jennie Pair

Jennie Pair, 82, of Granbury passed away on January 2, 2022. Jennie was born on May 3, 1939 to Douglas and Jennie McEvers in Houston,Texas. She graduated from Big Spring High School in 1957. She attended North Texas State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Education and later a masters degree in Education from Texas Tech University. She taught for the Lubbock Independent School District and retired in 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Douglas M. McEvers and Donald R. McEvers as well as her son Darrell Henderson. Survivors include her daughters Kenda McPherson of Junction, Texas, Janis Henderson of Lubbock, Texas and a son Brian Smith and wife Krista of Alabama. Seven grandchildren, Kellye SoRelle, Cory Crump (Cristy), Elijah Beck, Ian Boone, Drake Boone, Jason McPherson (Brittany), Landon Smith and Karlee Smith. Eight great grandchildren Madeleine, Isabella, Thomas, Alexia, Noah, Lucas, Lawrence, Kai and another on the way. Her sister Nancy J Dall (Ronald) of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Several nephews, great nieces and nephews and many many friends. The family will have a celebration of life at a time to be determined.
