Jerry Lynn Thom

Jerry Lynn Thom entered rest on June 13, 2022. Jerry was born September 17, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas and attended John T. White High School. Jerry could be seen driving around in his red and white 62 Chevy listening to his music. He loved music from Hank Sr to Willie Nelson and old rock and roll. Jerry was a hard worker working as a lawn keeper for a golf course, driving dump trucks and working many years for the city of Fort Worth. He spent his final days helping on his brother Garland’s farm driving the hay truck for his nephews or keeping lawn up for Aunt Sue. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Anna Thom, his life partner, Rita Lopez and brothers; Clifton Bourg Jr, Ray Thom and Garland Bourg. Jerry is survived by his sister Barbara Musco (Johnny) of Donaldsonville LA., six children that he shared with Rita; Jessica Lopez Gary Thom, Mary Lopez, Stephanie Lopez, Brian Lopez and Kerry Thom all from Texas. Jerry also leaves behind the 19 grandchildren he shared with Rita. Jerry is also survived by his first wife Virginia Baker with whom he shares a daughter Dianna Pulliam (Donald Sr.), 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jerry was also loved by and leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Jerry will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will have a small intimate pre cremation viewing date and time to be determined. The family would like to give a special Thank You to and all who have supported the kids during this time .
