Jimmie Dean Goodvin

Jimmie Dean Goodvin, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

Born on February 8, 1936 (Wewoka, OK), to Zephra Lovett and James Chambers, Jimmie Dean lived a life full of grace, strength, and joy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Paul Goodvin, with whom she shared many beautiful years until his passing on May 1, 2023; as well as her brother Cecil Cope, and parents Zephra & James.  

Jimmie Dean is survived by her loving daughter, Teresa Kolb (Jeff), son-in-law Jon Goodvin (Mara), son-in-law Jay Goodvin (Monica); her six grandchildren Jessica, Elise, Kate, Charlie, Leah, Gigi; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Alice and Kenneth. She is also survived by her dear brother, Don Chambers, and sister-in-law, Pam Chambers.

Jimmie loved traveling, shopping, and gathering with her family & friends—simple pleasures that brought her immense happiness and reflected her vibrant spirit.

Her kindness, elegance, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. Jimmie Dean’s legacy lives on through those she loved so dearly.
