John Joseph Stilwell

John Joseph Stilwell passed away at his home on Monday, January 29, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born July 26, 1945 to Carl and Ruth Stilwell in Los Angeles, CA. Through his lifetime, John gave his love and quiet wisdom to his surviving wife, Faydra (Gamble) Stilwell, mother, Ruth Stilwell, brother, Jim Stilwell and wife Lisle. He loved his children Michelle (Jack) Ross, son Michael (Kerrie) Stilwell and three step-daughters, Mandi, Alex and Paula Germain. They blessed him with 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his father, Carl Stilwell, wife, Marjorie Stilwell and infant son, Marcus Stilwell. John served his country in the U.S. Army (1967-1969) in South Korea and provided his technical skills for more than four decades to the Flying Tigers and FedEx Corporation. His quick sense of humor, ability to listen to your conversation without showing judgement and his contagious spirit for enjoying life will be a very special part of our memories forever. A Celebration of LIfe will be held at The Tiger Den on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
