Joy Cadenhead Morton

Joy Cadenhead Morton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 22. Service: 11 am Saturday at Pathway Church in Burleson followed by a graveside in DeLeon, TX at 3:30 pm.  Visitation: 6-8 Friday November 25 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love, kindness, and patience were apparent to anyone who met her, even once. She was a true testament to the fruits of the spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness. She is survived by her husband Jack Morton, sister Doris “Dook” Montgomery, son Jeff & wife Jana, son Joel & wife Kelly, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and hundreds who lovingly called her Meme.
