Services for Juanita Leigh Petton, 89, formerly of Mesquite, Texas, are scheduled for 3 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Mayfield-Kiser Funeral Home, Burleson, TX, with her son, Dr. Larry Petton, officiating. Burial will be at 5 pm at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX., visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Mrs. Petton died on Good Friday, April 22, 2011, in Tyler, TX. She was born April 3, 1922, in Yantis, TX, to George and Fannie Leigh. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clarence L. Petton. She is survived by her daughter, LaJuana Christian and husband, Travis of Whitehouse, TX; her son, David Petton and wife, Peggy of Burleson, TX; and son, Dr. Larry Petton and wife, Rosanne of Springdale, AR; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandsons.
