Graveside services will be held Friday, November 7, 2003, for Juanita Hartman Wesson, 90, a Cleburne native who lived here for the first 45 years of her life. Interment is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Hartman Family plot in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Freeman, pastor of Henderson Street Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Wesson died October 30, 2003, in Mission Viejo, California. She had suffered for several years from cerebrovascular disease. Funeral services were held in California on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at the Living Hope Baptist Church of Whittier/LaMirada An early member of the congregation at the Henderson Street Baptist Church, Mrs. Wesson was a graduate of Cleburne High School where she played women’s basketball and softball. After graduation she worked as a bookkeeper at the Snow White Laundry for many years. Surviving Mrs. Wesson are: her brother, George Hartman, who lives with his wife, Mary Lynn, in Coto de Caza, CA.; one niece, Donna Lewis, of Sedalia, MO; one nephew, David Hartman, who lives with his wife, Teresa in San Juan Capistrano, CA.; and a great-niece, Heather Hartman, also of San Juan Capistrano. Mrs. Wesson’s husband, Wrex Wesson, died in 2001 and was also buried at the family plot in Cleburne.
