Judy Ann Carlton

Judy Ann Carlton, age 56, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and joy that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Born on September 30, 1968, Judy lived life with a vibrant spirit and a generous heart. She had a special gift for bringing whimsy and wonder into everyday moments, making life brighter for her family, friends, and all who crossed her path.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Stacy, and her cherished grandparents, Ruby and Lloyd.

She is survived by her loving parents, Ann and Terry Carlton; her daughter, Ashleigh Handley; her son, Justin McWhorter; and her five adored grandchildren, Brooklyn, Lillie, Cameron, Tyler, and Emily.

Judy found great happiness in crafting and expressing her creativity through the many beautiful things she made. She also had a deep love for dogs and devoted much of her time to raising and caring for them. Above all, she treasured her role as "Nini" to her grandchildren.

Judy was truly full of life and loved by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious spirit will be remembered forever. Though she will be missed greatly, the love she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
