Judy James Nesky

d. June 8, 2018

Judy was born in Durant, OK on January 16, 1938 to Ollie and Pauline James. She had one brother, Tom James, who preceded her in death. Accomplishing a lifetime goal, Judy graduated Summa Cum Laude from UTD in May 2000, after a 26-year career at Centennial Homes. She cherished family gatherings; and loved international travel, piano, books, flowers and nature. She put love into her cooking and we all knew it. Judy was a wonderful, loving mother to her daughters Penny and Carrie. She met the love of her life, Stan, and they spent 46 loving years together. She was so loved and adored by family, as well as many friends. She lived her life with dignity; integrity; and a positive attitude and outlook. She was a classy dresser, accepting of all, and always a friend. Boone says she was classy. Judy is survived by her husband Stanley Nesky, daughter Penny McMullen, daughter Carrie McFarland and husband Kevin, sister-in-law Kathleen Duval and husband Ted, nephew Kevin James, cousin Pete Cartwright, cousin Tim Cartwright, cousin John Sturges, stepson Greg Nesky, stepson Michael Blair, and grandchildren Lindsey, Cody, Kyle, Courtney, Scott, Sydney, Breck, Reef, plus great-grandchildren, Raylon, Maren, Jace, Jakson, & Bryer, who keep her in loving memory. A celebration of a life well-lived for Judith J. Nesky will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11am at Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson. Burial to follow at Restland Dallas. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Judy, donations may be given to the Cvetko Patient Resource Center, 3410 Worth Street, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75246. Donations will be used to benefit Sammons Cancer Center patients and their families.
