Karl William Black

Weatherford, TX.-On the early morning of October 16, 2020, Karl William Black passed away. Karl was in hospice slowly declining after multiple injuries which stemmed from car accidents and a lifetime of training horses. Karl was a American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Judge and trained horses in both California and Texas. Karl’s passion was training Handicapped children to safely ride and appreciate horses. Karl was 75 years old. Survivors: mother, Mary Berra Black, siblings, Kathy Barchyn, Paul Black, John Black, Sid Black, Phil Black and a life long friend Lacey Lamance who was with Karl through this terrible ordeal. A Celebration of Karl’s Life will be held at San Fernando Mission Cemetery at a future date.
