Cleburne–Graveside services for Kathy Melia Newsom, 49, of Cleburne, will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, of Cleburne. Kathy Newsom, a food services manager for the Cleburne ISD, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004 in Dallas. She was born in Plano, Texas, December 2, 1954, the daughter of Richard Lee and Dovie (Crane) Elder. Mrs. Newsom is survived by her husband, Tom Newsom; son, Tom Newsom, Jr, both of Cleburne; daughters, Lisa Peterson and husband, of Garland and Amber Fisher; Grandchildren, Layne Peterson, Shea Peterson and Tye Fisher; brother, Danny Elder and wife, Stella, of Saginaw; sisters, Barbara Slagle and Annette Jackson, of Garland;Lou Donna Smith and husband, Terry, of
