On Saturday, September 8, 2018, Kenneth Allen Luthy, age 44, passed from this life in Dallas, Texas. Ken was born in Evanston, Wyoming on February, 28, 1974. He graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1992 and then attended the University of Wyoming where he graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences in History and was a member of the SAE fraternity. He also attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces NM. As a true lover of history and politics, Ken was well-informed and enjoyed a lively political discussion or debate, no matter the topic. He embraced his strong beliefs and opinions. He was also connoisseur of good food and good beverages and especially good friends. He spent many years in real estate and enjoyed being around people and his dog, Tyler. Ken was a caring, thoughtful, and kind man but with just a little bit of orneriness. He especially enjoyed road trips and loved the annual road trip to the Texas State Capitol to purchase the latest Christmas ornament. He loved the Texas Hill Country in the spring with all the wildflowers, but his heart was always in Wyoming. Ken is survived by his parents, Charles and Sharon Luthy of Kemmerer, Wyoming; his sisters, Kate Moody and husband Wes of Hulett, Wyoming, Kim King of Alto, New Mexico, and Kelly Larsen and husband Bryan of Bellingham, Washington, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
