Predeceased by his first wife, Ann in 2003; sister in law, Eleanor Duggan; brother in law Michael McNiff and parents Gerhard and Geraldine; Ken is survived by his wife Virginia; daughter Kelly Ann, her husband Lou and their children, Dominic and Giana; daughter Kathleen, her husband Paul and their son Jay; daughter Maureen and her boyfriend Numa; sisters Linda (Dan), Diane and Eileen (Nick); brothers Jerry (Sue) and John (Diane); sisters in law Christine Duggan, Katherine Christie, Ellen Johnson; brother in law John Duggan; best friend Dennis Hill; many loving nieces and nephews and a host of long-time friends. Ken enlisted in the Air Force on December 7, 1970 and was a proud veteran. He joined the US Postal Service in Philadelphia as carpenter in 1987 working there until transferring in 2009 to Coppell, TX. After retiring from the military in 2012 and the USPS in 2013, his passions for both the military and motorcycles led him to become an avid Patriot Guard Rider in the North Texas region until his health no longer permitted. Also in recent years, Ken became an ardent researcher of all things related to good health and nutrition, especially holistic alternatives aimed at maintaining health and restoring health in the wake of disease. He wanted to share his newfound information and lifestyle with nearly everyone he encountered, encouraging them to view the documentaries Forks Over Knives, Bought and Run From the Cure as a starting point. He will be lovingly remembered as a gentleman, for his always helpful, kind and generous spirit, and his love of hunting, kayaking and motorcycling. On Monday, 11/7/16 at 3:00 pm there will be an interment with military honors held at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211. On Saturday, 11/19/16, there will be a brief visitation with family at 10:30 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am held at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA.
