Kenneth James Shinn

BURLESON – Kenneth James Shinn, 76, joined the Lord on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 after his battle with Lung Cancer. Kenny was born on April 15, 1938 to Kenneth and Grace Shinn. He attended the Victory High School then joined the United States Air Force shortly thereafter. Upon retirement from the Air Force, Kenny worked for Reliable Life Insurance and retired in 2001 after 30+ years of service. Kenny enjoyed cars and wrestling. He is preceded in death by his wife, Polly Wallace Shinn. Survivors: daughters Marci Whitman, Pamela Williamson, and Jamie Coppenbarger; son Kenneth Jay Shinn. He was blessed with a great number of grandchildren: Melani, Noah, Adele, Josh, Desiree’, Cameron, Nathan and Chance; three great-grandchildren: Ashton, Olivia, and Amelia.
