Kevin Middleton Harris

Saginaw, Texas – It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Middleton Harris announces his passing after a long two year battle with cancer, on Saturday, June 30th, 2018, at the age of 52. He was born on March 31, 1966. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 29 years, Rae Carol and his children, Brittany Thedford and husband Grant Thedford, Sydney Harris, and Selena Harris. Kevin was survived by his Father, Morris Harris and wife Ann Harris of Shreveport, LA; his sisters, Carrie DeMoss and Nancy Beckman of Ashburn, VA, and Susan Harris of Crowley, TX; his father-in-law, William West and wife Anna West of Bedford, TX; his sister-in-laws, Andrea Linder of Saginaw, TX, and Allyson York and husband Stephen York of Fort Worth, TX; and nieces, nephew, and countless other relatives and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Harris, his mother-in-law, Jill Christensen, and nephew, Justin DeMoss. Kevin was a 1984 graduate of Hooks High School in Hooks, Texas. He has worked for Bennet Benner Partners architecture firm for the last 23 years where he was dearly loved and supported by his co-workers. Alongside his family, Kevin was a member of Saginaw United Methodist Church in Saginaw, Texas. He was a strong Christian and walked in faith throughout his life. In his spare time, he loved to travel the world with his family. Kevin was a very talented artist and enjoyed creating works of art in stained glass and graphic design. There will be a Celebration of his life held on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Saginaw United Methodist Church in Saginaw, Texas. A reception will follow the services in the fellowship hall.
