Kristine A Jaeckle

March 22, 1966 — October 22, 2025

Kristine Adele (Kris) Jaeckle was born on March 22, 1966 in St Louis, MO while her parents were being moved to Pease AFB in Portsmouth, NH. She passed to her heavenly reward on October 22, 2025 after fighting a 19 month cancer battle.

As a military dependent (nicknamed Air Force Brat), Kris lived in over 18 different locations. She graduated from Woodbridge High in Woodbridge, VA, attended Oral Roberts University and graduated with a BA degree in Marketing from The University of North Dakota in 1986.

Kris was an active, involved person who worked many occupations throughout her life. She was an advertising sales representative, legal secretary, event planner and manager, elementary school teacher, real estate professional, and pilates teacher. Throughout her working career she kept her relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ first place in all of her endeavors.

People were always a priority for Kris. She participated in numerous Bible studies, had friends from all over the United States and countries around the world whom she talked or corresponded with on a frequent basis. When you became Kris’ friend you were her friend forever.

One of her most treasured positions was working as an Events Manager for The Young Presidents Organization (YPO). She traveled worldwide and meet a broad spectrum of prominent CEOs, politicians, authors and newsmakers. The events and people she met during this period became the foundation for a book she authored which was published in 2023 by Amazon in hard copy and audible form. It is still available on Amazon for those who may be interested.

That book, Global Adventures - A Divine Journey, is the story of her world travels, the people she encountered, and the lives impacted from those encounters. Some of those experiences included waltzing in Vienna’s Hofburg Palace, being asked for a date by Prince Edward in London, doing a 1200 ft bungee jump in New Zealand, and tending to the sick and downtrodden in Calcutta, India, at Mother Teresa’s Care Center. She had a short conversation with Mother Teresa upon her exit where a request was made for medical supplies. A request which was miraculously fulfilled by Kris on her return to Dallas.

Kris had a great spirit of adventure. She helped establish a glider club in Pecan Plantation and regularly participated in their weekly flying events at “Chigger Field” in Cresson, TX. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family. She is survived by her parents Col (Ret) John Jaeckle Sr, her mother Joan Garthoeffner Jaeckle, brother John Jr, brother Ed Jaeckle III and wife Wendy Kilduff Jaeckle plus six nieces, three nephews and numerous cousins.
