Larry Dean Rice

Cleburne, Texas - Larry Dean Rice passed peacefully at home surrounded by love on October 11, 2025. He was born on July 8,1950 in Cleburne Texas.
Larry was proceeded in death by his mother, Gracie Belle Rice and his father LD Rice. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jones Rice, his brother Danny Rice, sister Carolyn Doty and his children: Jeana Carroll(Joshua), Melanie Rice-Jarrell, Jason Rice(Stephanie), Shawna Senior(Brent), Amy Phares(Jerry), Chrissy Welker(David), and William Jones(Chelsea). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren: London, Morgen, Reagan, Aubree, Gracie, McKenna, Breighlynn, Jasmine, Whaylen, Chloe, Emmett, Finn, and Isabelle and 5 great-grandchildren.

Larry served in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking. In his younger years he was a musician and loved playing guitar and listening to country western music. He was and avid fisherman and spent time fishing with family and friends off the gulf coast. He often joked that the other woman, was in fact, Port O'Conner.

He was an amazing father and Pops. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed playing and spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by all.
