Laura Laverne Garrett

Laura Laverne Garrett, 69, passed away on Saturday May 5, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Visitation: Tuesday 10:00 A.M. until Noon to be followed by a graveside service at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Laura was born on April 18, 1943 in Fort Worth to Howard and Helen Watson. She worked side by side with her husband, Bob, building homes. Laura enjoyed shopping, cooking and Traveling. She particularly loved the beach. Laura was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be dearly missed by those left to cherish her memory. Survivors, husband, Bob; daughters, Laurie Corbin, Shari Weber and Kim Cross; sons, Billy Joe Corbin Jr., and Rob Garrett; sisters, Sharon Stone and husband, Jesse and Susan Neal; brothers, Michael Watson and wife, Jenny, Jeff Watson and best friend Jan Joslin, and Howard Watson and wife, Sydney; grandchildren, Lauren Stegman and husband, Tanner, Megan Corbin, Courtney Corbin, Justin Corbin, Lyndsey Taylor, Alisha Dean, Stacy Dean, Carly Nelson and Jennifer Cross. numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
