Laura Murdoch

Laura Murdoch, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 in Lavon, Texas at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Wednesday, October 10th, 1934 in West Virginia. She spent most of her life moving around the country with her military husband, Bobby Hudnall. Laura’s passion was her church where she developed many long lasting relationships that were precious to her. Her hobbies included making quilts for her loved ones for all major life events labeling each one with her signature and year. These precious items with be cherished by her family for years to come. She is survived by her daughter, Drema Hudnall, by her grandchildren, Michelle Escobar and husband Cletis, Rodney Ford and wife Rachel, Cynthia Ford, Tiffany Miles, Jared Hudnall, Jesse Hudnall and wife Christie and her 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hudnall and son, Bobby Hudnall Jr. and son, Bruce Hudnall. 

The family decided to have a private celebration of life birthday party at home before her passing. There will not be a memorial service.
