Burleson — LaVerne M. Nelson, 74 passed away January 14, 2011. She was born LaVerne Marie Holzman to the late Henry and Frances Holzman of Benton, Arkansas. Services: Memorial Service in Little Rock, Arkansas is planned for January 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Roller-Chenal, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Texas-Emery J. Lilge Hopsice House, 301 Medpark Circle, Burleson, Texas 76028 She was a great friend, loving mother and the very best grandma ever. Laverne, a woman with profound charisma, was a friend to all who met her. She was an extremely hard worker with over 33 years of dedicated service to Fidelity Information Services, formerly known as Systematics, Inc, and Alltel, all of Little Rock, AR. She had an impact on the lives of everyone who knew her. We are deeply saddened by her passing but we know in our hearts she is in a better place. Her smile, infectious laugh, wonderful cooking and words of wisdom will be missed by all. Survivors: She leaves behind a family who all love her unconditionally.
